Say hi to our Hillhead Business Manager Wendy who started at Strands over 30 years ago as a beautician. As the business grew, her role changed to ‘managing anything and everything except hair.’
What do you love about your role? There is never a day the same. I work with some lovely talented people, my boss is my sister so that’s not really like work a lot of the time! It’s sociable and fun.
Who inspires you to do well? The young people I work with inspire me with their fashion and creativity.
What is your ultimate ambition? My ambition right now is to keep doing what I’m doing until they throw me out!
How would you describe yourself in 3 words? Annoyingly always right.
Tell us something about you that might surprise others. I can’t have jigsaw puzzles in the house.
